Overview
बुलंदशहर का इतिहास 1200 ईसा पूर्व से पहले भी शुरू होता है यह क्षेत्र पांडवों – इंद्रप्रस्थ और हस्तीनापुर की राजधानी के करीब है । जिले के उत्तर पूर्व में स्थित है जो हस्तिनापुर, आहार के पतन के बाद बुलंदशहर पांडवों के लिए एक महत्वपूर्ण जगह बन गया । समय के साथ राजा पर्मा ने क्षेत्र के इस हिस्से पर एक किला बनाया और अहिबरन नाम के एक राजा ने बरन ( बुलंदशहर ) नामक एक टावर की नींव रखी । चूंकि यह एक बड़े क्षेत्रफल पर फैला हुआ था, इसलिए इसे उच्चता के रूप में जाना जाने लगा, जिसे बुलंदशहर के रूप में जुनून भाषा में अनुवादित किया गया था ।
